Monique Austin is a business and banking associate with Craig and Macauley Professional Corporation. Ms. Austin’s practice concentrates on general corporate and securities law. She counsels public and private companies in all stages of development, from formation and growth through debt and equity financings to mergers and acquisitions. In addition, she advises public company directors and officers on a wide range of matters, including corporate governance, internal controls, stock options, and periodic reporting obligations. Ms. Austin also has experience advising community banks and bank holding companies on compliance with federal and state banking regulations.

Ms. Austin received her Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, from Boston College in 2000 and her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the Boston University School of Law in 2003. Ms. Austin also completed one year of undergraduate study in politics and economics at Mansfield College, Oxford University, Oxford, England. While in law school, Ms. Austin served as an Editor of the Annual Review of Banking Law. Ms. Austin was also awarded the prestigious honor of being named an Edward F. Hennessey Scholar during law school.
